The Grand Theatres/AmStar Cinemas Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) begins at 12:01 a.m. on June 26, 2009 and ends at 11:59 p.m. on July 17, 2009 (“Sweepstakes Period”). All times are Central Time.
ELIGIBILTY: This Sweepstakes is only open to legal residents of the States of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina Kentucky, and Florida who are 13 years of age or older. Corporate entities are not eligible and have no right to claim any prize won by its employees. Employees and family members of such employees (or people living in the same household whether related or not), step-parents, step children of Southern Theaters LLC (“Sponsor”), Warner Bros. Ent. Inc. or their respective partners, parent companies, divisions, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising, promotion and public relations agencies and their respective officers, directors employees, representatives and agents (collectively, the “Sponsor Affiliates”) are not eligible. For the purposes of this Sweepstakes, family members are defined as mother, father, in-laws, grandmother, grandfather, brother, sister, children and grandchildren. Participation in this Sweepstakes constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these official rules and the decisions of Sponsor.
HOW TO ENTER: To enter, visit www.thegrandtheatres.com (“Web Site”) during the Sweepstakes Period and completely fill out and submit the entry form for this Sweepstakes. You may enter online at the Web Site during the Sweepstakes Period. One (1) entry per person. Entries submitted or received after the Sweepstakes Period will be void. Duplicate entries will be disqualified. Those who do not fill in all the required fields will be disqualified. Entries that are forged or altered or are generated by a macro, bot, or other automated means will not be accepted and will be void. To enter by mail, send a 3 x 5 card with your full name, address and daytime phone number to Southern Theatres Marketing Department, Southern Theatres LLC, 305 Baronne Street, Suite 900, New Orleans, LA 70112. Must be postmarked no later than July 10, 2009 and received by July 15, 2009 to be eligible for the sweepstakes.
RANDOM DRAWING: Prize winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries on or about ten (10) days after the close of the Sweepstakes, to be conducted by Sponsor’s designated judges, whose decisions are final and binding. Winners will be notified by telephone and/or e-mail as determined by Sponsor on or about 10 days after the random drawing. Odds of winning a prize depends on the number of eligible entries received.
PRIZES: One (1) Prize will be awarded: 6 tickets to Harry potter and the Half Blood Prince at any of our Grand Theatre or AmStar location except for AmStar 12 Lake Mary, Florida (approximate retail value (“ARV”) of Prize is $58.50. Total ARV is $58.50
Limit one (1) prize per person. Winners are solely responsible for all federal, state and local taxes applicable to prizes won, as well as any expenses not specifically mentioned in these official rules. No cash substitutions, transfer or assignment of prize will be allowed, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. If any prize or portion thereof is unavailable, Sponsor has the right to replace that prize or portion thereof with a substitute prize of equal or greater value. If legitimately claimed, all prizes will be awarded.
GENERAL: All entrants acknowledge that if they are chosen as a winner, certain of their personally identifying information may be disclosed to third parties at least as required by law, including, without limitation, on a winners list. In addition, except where prohibited by law, by entering, each entrant consents to the use of his/her name, picture, image, likeness, voice, biographical data, and any other information contained in his/her entry by Sponsor and the Sponsor Affiliates for any use whatsoever, including, without limitation, in advertising, promotional, and marketing materials in any medium whatsoever (including, without limitation, the internet) without additional compensation, notice, review, or approval. Entries become Sponsor’s property and will not be returned. Winners may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release (where legal) within the timeframe specified by Sponsor to receive a prize. If any prize notification is rejected or returned as undeliverable or if a tentative prize winner cannot be reached within a reasonable time (as determined by Sponsor) from the date of first notification attempt, such person may be disqualified and an alternate entry will be randomly drawn. Return of any prize notification/prize as undeliverable or as rejected may result in disqualification and the awarding of the prize to an alternate winner.
In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of an online entrant, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address provided, but only if that person meets all other eligibility criteria. An authorized account holder is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain name associated with the submitted e-mail address.
By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and that they will not knowingly damage or cause interruption to the Sweepstakes or prevent others from participating in the Sweepstakes. Failure to comply with these official rules may result in disqualification from this Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to permanently disqualify any person it believes has violated these official rules. Any person who supplies false information, obtains entries by fraudulent means, or is otherwise determined to be in violation of these official rules will forfeit any prize won and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes is a violation of criminal or civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages or other remedies from any such person(s) responsible for any such attempt to the fullest extent permitted by law. This Sweepstakes is governed by U.S. law and is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. Participants agree that any and all legal actions or claims arising in connection with this Sweepstakes must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction within the U.S.

Sponsor is not responsible, and may disqualify you, if your e-mail address does not work or if it is changed without prior written notice to Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to void entries of any entrants who Sponsor believes have attempted to tamper with or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of this Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes if it is not capable of running as planned for any reason whatsoever. In such event, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, perform the random drawing from among all eligible entries received prior to or after such cancellation, suspension, or modification.
